Spannocchi explores his childhood growing up in Vienna surrounded by classical music and shows how his professional life in London makes it's mark with a modern cosmopolitan sound informed by his experiences and impressions of extensive touring and embracing the sound of the world. 'Kammermusik' features long term collaborator and cellist Danny Keane (Grammy-nominated composer and sideman of Anoushka Shankar & Mulatu Astatke) as well as Andea Di Biase on bass (Kenny Wheeler's sideman) and London Philharmonic solo percussionist James Larter on vibraphone and tubular bells.
