Written during a period marked by one of their main songwriters leaving the band, the album forced afundamental reassessment of both the process and the intentions. Siamese became more of a band, and less of a songwriting camp with "dissolution". The result is a sound that is heavier than anything Siamese have released before. The album represents the most comprehensive body of work Siamese have created.
